My Story
Experience Earned Through Real Work
My path didn’t start with a blueprint. In 2013, I began exploring how technology solves real-world problems through a hardware NVQ program. It was hands-on, and it gave me a technical foundation that still informs how I look at digital systems today.
By 2016, I was working as a Graphic Designer and IT Specialist at LG Farm (PVT) LTD.
This was my first look at business at scale. I saw how design, systems, and operations interact to drive a brand forward.
While pursuing my B.Tech in Multimedia and Web Technology, I began working with the Sri Lanka Muaythai Federation. I started with design, but quickly realized that a pretty poster means nothing without reach and positioning. My focus shifted from making things look good to making things grow.
When most of my peers were looking for safe, low-paid internships, I chose to start my own one man digital marketing operation. I built my own client list and managed real projects. When I presented my work for my final industrial viva, the panel assumed I was working for a high-level agency. It was actually my own company.
In 2022, I co-founded WBC Muaythai Sri Lanka. We started with zero, no fighters, no audience and no brand recognition. I built the entire digital infrastructure from the ground up, focusing on international standards and credibility.
A year later, we hosted Sri Lanka’s first-ever professional international Muaythai championship. I led the digital strategy and Meta Ads management. Seeing a global-scale event come to life from a blank page proved what focused strategy can achieve.
In 2024, I walked away from previous projects to reset. I chose to leave an environment that didn’t align with my ethics. I spent that time returning to the fundamentals studying AI automation, advanced advertising algorithms and modern growth systems.
That reset gave me more than just technical updates; it gave me perspective. Today, Chamila digital is built on experience earned through real work, real risks and real results.
I work with business owners who value clarity over shortcuts. I understand that growth is a system, not a hack. I respect how hard you’ve worked to build your business and I treat your capital with that same level of responsibility.
